When one of you fav's Mark Eric asks you to assist on a styled shoot you say ok cool, let's make magic. Then he tells you it will be at Race + Religious in New Orleans and you jump out of your seat a little. We have worked a lot with Mark for his workshops that train other photographers so we had a lot of fun!
Let's start with booze in the morning | makeup artist life
Some days you start the day in a bar at 8am.
You know the fun thing is im totally ok with this. I love commercial shoots and men's grooming. This time it's for a liquor brand - Cutty Sark.
Not everyone realizes that I do both of those things or that I love both.
Had a ton of fun with Clarence doing some promo workout photos for his website!
We did a few ball throws to start off with - def a good full body workout.
We were working on getting the camera sync'd up - so I was getting a little tired
Next we moved onto the pull downs, it had been a while since I've done those so I had to ask for a bit of direction.
Looks like I know what I'm doing lol
Last we did kettle bell swings - hate those!!!
I was doing it all wrong so Clarence showed me what to do and I pretended to train hi 😂
Ok - now I've got it!
It was a ton of fun and I really miss working out with Clarence - all my go go go keeps me from working with him. I def had my best body when I worked out with him!
Always a fun time in NOLA | sailor moon + comic con burlesque
This past weekend was New Orleans Comic Con - not only was their all things geek but nerdlesque!
We started all of the fun with a Sailor Moon Burlesque show from The Society of Sin.
Steven has way too much fun at a burlesque show - lap dance and all.

Back in 2015 Etch Jewelry asked me to do hair for their summer look book after meeting them at New Orleans Fashion Week - that was an easy Hell Yes. I had so much fun with these models but boy were those buns a task - the model had a singular dread in her hair - super fun to hide that but I did! Woo!
Where can I sign up for long flowy hair like this!?!?!?

Happy Freaking New Year!!
Ahhhhh. So much fun to ring in the new year to my best friends! We had an amazing time at a restaurant/bar called Vessell. It is a renovated church turned bar, and man is it beautiful!
As the night went on we may have had a little too much fun, one of us had to be helped into a cab. But all in all it was a successful night and I can't wait to do it again next year!

New Orleans Fashion Week : SS2015

Sometimes I get to do some fun things - like lead the spring season of New Orleans Fashion week. I've lead this show for 3 seasons and had a blast - this season was by far my fav. I had the chance to work with the lovely Katherine Haik before she went on to win Miss Teen USA - you could tell then that she had star power at only 14!!
Commercial Shoot | Lee Lopez | Tina Rodosta Hair + Makeup
"Hay Tina, wanna do some fashion work today in New Orleans" - uh yea! I love working with Lee Lopez on fashion shoots. I'm all about the dark and moody way that he edits his images. We sat down one day at a photoshoot and I asked him "What do you like makeup to look like?", his response "contour". Got it Lee! Our models (and some of our brides) will be contoured to the heavens!
Kismet Cosmetics Photoshoot
It is an amazing feeling working with an up and coming brand - Kismet Cosmetics is one of those brands that I got to work with on their lipstick debut! Caitlin came to me with a concept and we made magic happen at the old movie theatre in Baton Rouge.
The Gold Leafing on this was amazing!
